The Power of Water
Water is a mighty force to be reckoned with! From floods, tsunamis, and super storms, to processes on a much longer geological time scale like glaciers moving across Iowa and erosion carving the mile-deep Grand Canyon, the power of water has literally shaped our landscape. For thousands of years, the power of water has also been harnessed for transportation, moving people and products, and more recently, for hydroelectric power generation. Water knows no boundaries – join us as we pay tribute to the great power of water in our lives!
